Q6 Media, LLC (“Q6 Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website (including https://q6.media, the “Site”) or use our services. It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal information. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our Site and in the course of our business (including via email, phone, SMS/text messaging programs, and other electronic communications). It does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from our Site, which have their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information from you when you interact with Q6 Media or our Site. This includes:

  • Contact Information: such as your name, email address, phone number, and other identifying information you provide.

  • Professional Information: such as your company name, industry, or role, especially when it is relevant to your project inquiries.

  • Project Details: any information you choose to provide about your project or business needs (for example, project goals, scope, budget, and other project-relevant data).

  • Communications: records and content of communications you send to us, such as emails, contact form submissions, phone calls, or text messages (including any opt-in consent for SMS).

  • Usage and Device Information: when you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain data about your device and how you use the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, date/time of visits, and referring website. We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (described below) to collect this information.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the personal information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • Providing Services: To respond to your inquiries, consult with you on your projects, and deliver the services or information you request from us.

  • Communication: To communicate with you about your project, account, or our services – for example, responding to messages you send or sending administrative information (such as updates, confirmations, and support messages).

  • Marketing and Updates: To send you newsletters, marketing communications, or promotional offers about our services or new features that may interest you, only if you have opted in to such communications. (You can opt out of marketing messages as described in the “Your Choices” section below.)

  • SMS Notifications: If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you SMS/MMS notifications or marketing messages related to our services. (Message and data rates may apply; you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions provided in the message or as described below.)

  • Improvement and Personalization: To analyze Site usage and improve our website, services, and user experience. For example, we may use information to debug and troubleshoot, to understand which pages or features are most popular, and to customize content to better serve you.

  • Analytics: To employ analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand how users interact with our Site, measure traffic and usage trends, and improve the functionality and content of our Site.

  • Advertising and Retargeting: To facilitate online advertising and measure the effectiveness of our ads. For instance, we may use tools like the Facebook Pixel to help deliver tailored advertisements on Facebook or other platforms to users who have visited our Site, and to track ad conversion and engagement.

  • Legal and Security: To comply with legal obligations, such as complying with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests. Additionally, to enforce our agreements and policies, to detect or prevent fraud, security incidents, or other illegal activities, and to protect the rights and safety of Q6 Media, our clients, and the public.

  • Other Purposes: For any other purpose described to you at the time we collect your information or pursuant to your consent.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect the Usage Information described above and to enhance your experience on our Site. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and remember certain information.

How we use cookies: Some cookies are essential for the Site to function, while others enable us to track and target the interests of our users to improve Site performance and marketing. We may use cookies to remember your preferences, analyze site traffic, and for security purposes. We also allow certain third parties to set cookies and similar technologies on our Site to assist with analytics and advertising, as explained below.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to collect information about how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to gather data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This information is transferred to Google and processed to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to Site usage. Google may also set additional cookies for advertising (such as Google Ads/Remarketing). Importantly, Google Analytics does not reveal to us your name or other directly identifying information; it provides aggregated insights. For more details on how Google collects and processes data, please see Google’s Privacy Policy. If you wish, you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser settings to refuse cookies.

Facebook Pixel: We use the Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel), provided by Meta (Facebook), which places a small piece of code on our Site. This tool helps us understand the effectiveness of our Facebook advertising and deliver more relevant ads to users on Facebook or Instagram. The Facebook Pixel may collect information such as when you visited our Site, which pages you viewed, or actions you took on our Site after clicking an ad. This information may be associated with your Facebook account (if you have one) and used by Facebook in accordance with its own Data Policy. The data we receive from Facebook Pixel is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us; however, Facebook may use the data to personalize ads within its platform. For more details on how Facebook uses information, please review Facebook’s Data Policy. If you prefer, you can opt out of Facebook Pixel-based tracking and ads by adjusting your Facebook account ad settings, or by using industry opt-out tools (see below).

Advertising Choices: You can control or disable cookies in your browser’s settings (note that some parts of our Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled). To learn more about interest-based advertising or to opt out of the collection and use of data by certain third-party ad networks, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Choice page. These tools allow you to opt out of many (but not all) of the cookies or other trackers that advertisers and third parties may use to collect information about your online activities.

How We Share Your Information

We understand your personal information is important, and we are careful about how we share it. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. In particular, no mobile information will be shared with third-parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Furthermore, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers or vendors who perform functions and services on our behalf. For example, this can include website hosting companies, analytics providers, marketing or email delivery services, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, texting/SMS delivery platforms, or other support services. These partners are given access to the information they need to perform their specific tasks and are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for our legitimate business purposes in providing their services to us.

  • Business Transfers: If Q6 Media is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction. We would contractually require any new owner to continue to honor the privacy commitments we have made in this Policy.

  • Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or legal process, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal requests, or court orders; (ii) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; (iii) investigate or protect against harmful or illegal activities, fraud, or security issues; or (iv) protect the rights, property, and safety of Q6 Media, our clients, or the public.

  • With Your Consent: In situations where you explicitly consent to or request sharing, we will share your information in accordance with that consent. For instance, if you ask us to introduce you to a partner or collaborate with a third party on your project, we will share contact or project information as needed with your permission.

Except for the instances noted above, we will not share your personal information with third parties. Specifically, as noted, we do not share customers’ mobile phone numbers or any SMS opt-in data with third-party marketers or affiliates for promotional use.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information. Q6 Media implements industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data where appropriate, access controls to restrict who can access data, and secure storage practices. While we strive to protect your information, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. You share and transmit data to us at your own risk, and if we become aware of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, and for legitimate business interests or as required by law. This means we may keep your information for as long as you maintain an account with us or as long as we are providing services to you. We may also retain certain information after you cease to use our services, if retention is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect our legal rights. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Your Choices and Rights

Marketing Communications: You have control over how we contact you. If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails or newsletters from us, you can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional email, or by contacting us directly (see Contact Us below). Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you non-promotional messages related to transactions or our ongoing business relationship (such as service updates or responses to your inquiries).

If you have consented to receive SMS/text messages from us, you can opt out of further texts at any time. To stop receiving our promotional text messages, you can reply STOP (or follow any alternative instructions provided) to any message you receive from us. After you send the STOP message, we may send you a confirmation text, and then you will not receive any further SMS messages. You may also contact us at any time to request removal from our text messaging list. (Note: If you opt out of text messages but continue to use our services, we may still send urgent account or service-related texts if necessary for administrative or security reasons.)

Cookies Preferences: As described above, you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and other tools. Doing so is voluntary, but disabling cookies may affect your experience on our Site (for example, some features might not work as intended).

Access, Correction, Deletion: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections of any inaccuracies. You may also request that we delete certain personal information, subject to some exceptions (for example, we might need to retain certain data for legal compliance or internal business purposes). If you would like to access, update, or delete your information, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section. We will consider and respond to your request as required by applicable law. For security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Do Not Track: Some web browsers and devices offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) feature that sends a signal to websites indicating you do not want to be tracked. Currently, there is no uniform standard governing how to respond to DNT signals, and we do not respond to these signals in any particular way. We will, however, treat any user-enabled global privacy control signals (as may be recognized under certain laws) as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information, if applicable. Keep in mind that you can still limit tracking as described in the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section of this Policy.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a resident of California, you have specific privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These rights are summarized below, and this section of our Privacy Policy applies solely to California residents:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share (note: as stated below, Q6 Media does not sell your personal information). You may request that we provide you with the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, the categories of third parties with whom we shared your personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm a verifiable deletion request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies (for example, if we need to keep certain information to comply with legal obligations or to complete a transaction you requested).

  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information or the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. However, Q6 Media does not sell personal information to third parties for monetary consideration, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense defined by California law without consent. In other words, we do not exchange your personal data for money, and we do not disclose your personal data to third-party advertisers for targeted advertising purposes beyond the cookie-based data collection described in this Policy (which you can opt out of as described above). We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means, for example, we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality of service just because you exercised your privacy rights. However, please note that if you ask us to delete your information or restrict our use of it, that may impact our ability to deliver certain services to you (e.g., we cannot provide tailored consulting if we cannot use your contact or project information). In any case, we will not retaliate or impose unreasonable requirements on you for exercising your rights.

Additional CCPA Disclosures: In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in the Information We Collect section of this Policy. These generally include identifiers (such as name, email, phone number), professional or employment-related information (such as your industry or company if provided), and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing data and cookies from your interactions with our Site). We collect this information from the sources and for the purposes described in How We Collect and How We Use sections above (e.g., directly from you via forms or communications, and automatically via your device for Site usage data). We disclose personal information for business purposes to service providers (such as our website host, analytics providers, and communication services) and, in limited and necessary circumstances, to other third parties as described in How We Share Your Information (e.g., to comply with law or as part of business transfers). We do not sell your personal information, and have not sold personal information in the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Policy. We also do not share your personal information for targeted advertising in a manner that the CCPA/CPRA defines as “sharing,” aside from the use of third-party cookies and pixels which you can control as explained above.

Exercising Your California Rights: If you are a California resident and wish to exercise any of your rights under CCPA, you or your authorized agent may submit a request to us by contacting us (see Contact Us below). Please clearly indicate that you are making a “CCPA Request” and specify which right you wish to exercise. We will need to verify your identity (or the identity and authority of your authorized agent) before processing substantive requests, which may involve asking you to provide certain information or to log into your existing account (if applicable) so we can match your identity with our records. We will respond to your request in accordance with CCPA timeframes (generally within 45 days, with the possibility of an extension if needed). If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reasons in our response.

Children’s Privacy

Our services and Site are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personal information to us. Parents and guardians should be aware that by the terms of this Policy, no child under 13 is allowed to provide personal information to Q6 Media. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions where additional protections apply), we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under your care has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us so that we can investigate and address the issue promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. If the changes are significant, we may also notify you by prominently posting a notice on our Site or by sending you a direct notification (for example, via email if we have your contact information). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Site or our services after any modifications to the Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and agreement to be bound by the updated Policy.
